MONEY ORDERS ARE ONLY ACCEPTED FOR ORDERS OVER $50.00. We will hold all money orders for TEN (10) DAYS until they fully clear our account. If you can't wait this long, please contact us for other means of payment.
ILLINOIS residents must pay sales tax on the item and shipping/ handling fees of 7.00%, unless they hold a current business registration or retail tax ID. We request a photo or scan of this registration and will keep it on file. If out of date, its up to the customer to supply a current version.
IF YOU DO NOT CONTACT US within 3 days regarding payment for orders, you will be assumed a non paying customer & your sale will be cancelled

CLEARANCE MERCHANDISE IS NOT RETURNABLE AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR ANY REASON. Any item marked at 50% or greater off regular price or described as "CLEARANCE" are non returnable. These items have been around awhile, one or two beads on a strand may be broken or scratched. In most cases we are selling these at a loss. We do not hand - pick from clearance merchandise. You can ask for anything you want, but if we cannot fulfill your request then the item is still not returnable.

We care about our environment and the amount of waste produced. We collaborate with other local companies who throw away stickers, news print paper, plastic bags, bubble wrap, boxes and mailing envelopes. If your package comes in a gold foil wrapper that has ingredients for a chocolate bar on it, please be assured, you have not gotten the wrong item. This is our attempt to do our part save the world and remind you of how sweet reusing and upcycling can be.
U N P A C K I N G
We do our best to make sure your items are wrapped securely for transit. We often use business cards or the invoice that is included as protection for your smaller items. Please be sure to check ALL OF YOUR PACKING MATERIALS. Your smaller beads may be stapled to the back of a business card or post card. Many items we sell are fragile, we know this. If you purchased an item that comes in lots of 5 for example, we may send 6 to ensure if one breaks you will have the quantity you paid for. Please check the strand length in the listing and then the quantity of good beads you received. If you ordered a 7" strand but received 8" and one is broken, then we will consider your order fulfilled and we will not refund for the broken bead.
elka design believes in the golden rule. We treat customers the way we expect to be treated. If you are not happy, we are not doing our job well enough. If you are in any way dissatisfied with your purchase, please allow us to make it right before you leave negative feedback.
If your question isn't answered, please contact us. We always love to hear from our customers. We are happy to wholesale and do larger quantities, so if you need more of something we can almost always accommodate.

You are welcome to return any regularly priced items for a refund of the price you paid or a store credit. If you prefer an exchange for a greater or equal value, we’ll ship the new item with no additional shipping fee. (Sorry, clearance items are excluded from this offer. USA and Canada ONLY) Please inform us within 7 days of receipt of item. We MUST receive your return within 30 days of original sale date or your item will not be refunded or returned. BUYER PAYS ALL RETURN SHIPPING FEES* THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY.* Your shipping and handling fees will NOT be refunded. All returns must be shipped to us with delivery confirmation from the carrier! We will NOT be held responsible for the receipt of items. What happens to packages once they are in the Post Office/FedEx/UPS systems is beyond our control! Credit is issued when the items returned are evaluated to be in salable condition. If beads are cracked or a strand has been cut open it is NO LONGER RETURNABLE even if you have restrung it. NO EXCEPTIONS. If the items you are returning had free shipping, then your shipping fees will be assessed at a MINIMUM of $5.00 or 15% of the item cost whichever is greater. INCLUDE A COPY OF YOUR INVOICE! We sell many things to many people. The only way we know who to credit is if you include the invoice. A return can’t be processed without it!
