Jolanta is like a gourmet chef when it comes to picking the "ingredients" for the jewelry she creates. She has a wonderful eye for the stones she selects. Fabulously marred bits of quartz or perfectly rounded yet inherently rough pumice adorn her eclectic creations. She also works with paper, brass and copper beads and found objects. Like all the best chefs, Jolanta combines unlikely shapes, textures and colors to create exciting new "flavors" sure to enliven your wardrobe's palate.

I am so glad to find you at the Hopkins, MN Bead Bazaar. I am so inspired by the Shiva Eye beads, I can't wait to make something out of them for myself and for my mother. What a wonderful mix you brought to the show, and I hope you found what you were looking for to finish your project.

Jolanta knows her stuff. We have purchased quality gemstones from her for the past 5 years. Every time her company comes to the Berea Show (Cleveland) we make a significant purchase. Love the way she mixes different combinations of stones. Will post some of our creations using her stones soon. See you Spring, 2010!!

WILL WORK FOR BEADS!!

My husband and I stopped by your tables at the Northern Virgnia Bead Society Show. We spoke with your brother briefly and he said that you were busy somewhere else.
We noticed that the name of your company is Elka design. Our last name, Ehlke, is very similar and is pronounced "Aehlka" in German. My husband's family came from Stettin, now Szcezin, in Northwest Poland. We enjoyed seeing your designs and beads. Hope to see you next year.
